Qualifications

DipWCF  Paul is also an ATF ( Approved Training Farrier) with 3 Female Apprentices, and he is a member of the FRC (Farriers Registration Council)

 

Current employment:  

Paul has a General, Remedial, Corrective and Surgical shoeing practice in Cheshire, providing a reliable service for Professional and private horse owners and also Veterinary Practices.  He holds a clinic at Beaver Hall every Wednesday and works closely with our physio team to achieve maximum results when rehabilitating the injured horse.

 

Career history:

Paul has been a farrier for nearly 33 years and is a highly experienced farrier, working alongside some of the countries most exceptional farriers, such as Ian Hughes, (Beijing Olympic 2008 and Leahurst Veterinary University Farrier).

 

Paul enjoys the challenge of shoeing competition horses from all aspects and was fortunate to be awarded the prize of best shod horse at Badminton Horse Trials 2008.

 

Paul also works closely as a referral farrier to many of the Cheshire Equine Veterinary practices and has lectured to other farriers & horse owners throughout the UK.
